Leeds - Victoria Gate

Victoria Gate is the striking, contemporary quarter of Victoria Leeds, one of the UK’s leading premium retail, leisure and F&B destinations, and sits alongside its historic sister development, Victoria Quarter. 

The centre is anchored by the region’s only John Lewis & Partners, which is complemented by best-in-class brands in the fashion, jewellery, cosmetics, wellbeing and accessories sectors.  These include Rolex, Cos, Townhouse, NEOM Wellbeing, The White Company, & Other Stories. It is also home to two rooftop restaurants, a 40,000 sq ft casino and competitive socialising outlet, Boom Battle Bar. 

Developed to an extremely high specification, Victoria Gate opened in 2016, featuring curved glass shop-fronts, corbelled brickwork and terracotta panels, herringbone, marbled floors as a reference to Leeds’ wool and textiles heritage, all set under an expansive glass atrium. 

The 405,000 sq ft development strengthened Victoria Quarter’s established reputation as the destination for premium and luxury. It was also awarded the “World’s Best Shopping Centre” in 2017 at MIPIM and transformed this part of the city into the bustling environment it is today. 

An impressive multi-storey car park sits adjacent to Victoria Gate with 805 parking spaces across 11 floors and is owner-operated. It has won many accolades since it first opened in 2016, including “Best New Car Park” in the UK at the British Parking Awards; and voted as the third “Coolest Car Park in the World”, both in 2018.
