Victoria Leeds, owned and operated by Redical, has announced that womenswear retailer, Nobody’s Child, has launched its northern debut at Victoria Leeds, marking the brand’s third store outside of London.

Nobody’s Child’s 1,400 sq ft flagship houses the brand’s full collection of apparel, jewellery, accessories, and fragrance, as well as its first footwear collection. The space has been designed by Nobody’s Child’s in-house team, featuring handmade joinery alongside vintage and reclaimed furniture. Local Leeds suppliers have designed bespoke signage for the brand’s first-ever northern store.

Bolstering Victoria Gate’s premium line-up of British brands, Nobody’s Child joins Mint Velvet, COS, Whistles and The White Company. The Leeds store adds to Nobody’s Child’s growing presence across the UK, with stores in Carnaby Street, Spitalfields, St Albans, Brighton, and flagship boutique in Covent Garden.

Rachel Bradburn, Head of Leasing at Redical, commented: “The latest in a long line of leading brands to select Victoria Leeds in their first foray into the north, the launch of Nobody’s Child yet again marks the destination’s reputation as the go-to-spot for first-rate brands. Nobody’s Child is a perfect fit to our premium line-up of womenswear at Victoria Leeds, and we are sure it will flourish here as the brand’s northern debut.”

Jody Plows, CEO at Nobody’s Child, commented: “We’re really excited to be opening in Leeds — a city with great energy and a strong sense of style, the perfect fit for Nobody’s Child! This store gives us the chance to connect with our customers in person and bring our brand to life on the high street. It’s another step forward as we grow our retail footprint across the UK.”

This news follows the recent announcement that luxury lifestyle brand, BYREDO, has signed at the destination’s Victoria Quarter, marking the brand’s first location outside of London within the UK and a direct result of the brand’s success as a concession within Victoria Leeds’ Harvey Nichols. These announcements further bolster Victoria Leeds’ position as the go-to location for regional firsts and city debuts outside of London.
