Redical's Victoria Leeds has unveiled its elegant 2024 Christmas lights display to mark the festive season and celebrate a record-breaking year. Created in collaboration with Blachere Illumination, the display seamlessly integrates the Victorian charm of Victoria Quarter with the modern elegance of Victoria Gate.
This year's theme combines twinkling white LEDs, comet-effect lighting, and colourful baubles in regal greens, zesty limes, and golds, enhanced by matte, gloss, and glitter finishes for added texture. Sustainability remains at the forefront, with the installation crafted from approximately 3,500 recycled plastic bottles and powered by energy-efficient LED technology.
Highlights include 7.5 m spiral trees in Victoria Quarter and Victoria Gate, as well as illuminated entrances featuring twinkling curtains, icicles, and braids that set the perfect backdrop. Sidney Street's animated tunnel, made from 1,685 recycled bottles and adorned with branded motifs, connects the two areas and leads to a custom 3.2 m standing Angel Wings installation at the entrance to Victoria Gate.
Jo Coburn, Senior General Manager at Victoria Leeds, said, "Collaborating with Blachere Illumination, we've created a magical Christmas lights display that celebrates our unique architecture and offers an unforgettable festive experience for our visitors."
